Abel Gance's Napoleon
Originally released in 1927, Abel Gance’s NAPOLEON is a cinematic landmark, which offers one of the most thrilling experiences in the entire history of film

Famed for its groundbreaking technical innovations – including its famous triptych finale – and a running time of 5½ hours, Gance’s epic traverses many of the formative experiences that shaped Napoleon’s rapid advancement.

Painstakingly restored to its true glory by Academy Award-winning film historian Kevin Brownlow and featuring an equally mammoth score composed and conducted by Carl Davis (newly recorded in 7.1), this is a must-see experience for film enthusiasts and students of all ages.

Film duration 5 hrs 32 mins, in 4 parts.

Includes hot supper. Please contact the venue (07785 328400, napoleon.walwyn@mail.com) if you have specific dietary requirements.
